Self-Storage
"Do's and Don'ts"

	Number each box. Keep a list of box numbers and their contents
	Leave 2-3 inches of air space between unit walls and stored items to allow ait flow.
	Individually wrap glassware and fragile items.
	Place heavier, non-breakable items on the bottom of a box and fragile items on top.
	Place items you need to get to near the front of the unit.
	Cover furniture and fabric covered items with cloth and blankets.
	Drain waterbeds thoroughly and pack with mothballs to stop mildew and keep out pests.
	Coat tools and machinery with light oil or vaseline to prevent rust.
	Always lock your storage unit before leaving the premises.
	Insure your items in storage.
	DO NOT STORE PERISHABLES such as food or plants.
	DO NOT STORE FLAMMABLES such as oil-based paint,gasoline, or kerosine.
	DO NOT STORE EXPLOSIVES, or TOXIC MATERIALS
